About the Free State
The Free State is a province of South Africa. Its capital is Bloemfontein, which is also South Africa’s judicial capital. Its historical origins lie in the Boer republic called the Orange Free State and later Orange Free State Province.
Sardaville Game and Holiday Ranch can accommodate 26 guests. It is a privately-owned game farm 30 km from Warden, 45 km from Vrede and 60 km from Harrismith in the Free State. The lodge offers self-catering facilities and is ideal for a large family or a group looking for comfortable lodging.
Accommodation comprises of the main house, 2 cottages and a rondavel. There are 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and 6 fireplaces. The rooms come equipped with a double bed and/or single beds. Other facilities which include a well-equipped kitchen, living area with a TV with full DStv, and an entertainment area with a snooker table a built-in bar and a seating area.
Guests can enjoy various activities on-site as well, such as hunting, clay pigeon shooting, hiking, quad and mountain biking trails, darts, swimming in the dam and game viewing.
