Everyone performs fine until it gets hard. I work with what happens after that.
I am on a five-year road to the South Pole. Solo, unsupported, in 2030. In 2026 I crossed the Greenland ice sheet on foot. 553km, 29 days, unsupported, ten of us hauling everything we owned. That is not a side project. It is the hardest thing I have ever pointed myself at.
For 25 years I have done this in hard places. Safari lodges across Africa. Boardrooms. Now the ice. I coach people who perform under pressure. I speak to rooms that want it straight. The Pole is where I test all of it. So when I stand in front of a room, none of it is theory.
In public. At fifty.
