About Me

From teaching to counselling psychology, my journey evolved into a passion for guiding others through life's challenges. I help students and individuals build resilience, embrace authenticity, and discover their potential—because our greatest growth happens when we step beyond our comfort zones.

From Teaching to Transformation

I initially aspired to be a teacher because I loved the idea of shaping young minds and making a difference from an early age.

While pursuing my studies, I was guided toward psychology to broaden my university experience—though I wouldn’t realize the significance of this decision until years later.

Finding Purpose Through Connection

When I began teaching English as a foreign language online, I quickly noticed that many of my adult students weren’t just looking to improve their language skills; they were seeking connection, guidance, and a safe space to be heard.

What started as language lessons often turned into meaningful conversations about life, struggles, and personal growth.

As I witnessed the impact of offering support, encouragement, and advice, I discovered my true calling. This experience reignited my passion for psychology and led me to further my studies, culminating in the completion of my honors degree in counseling psychology in 2024.

The Heart Behind My Work

Life hasn’t always been gentle with me. I’ve faced distinct seasons of hardships —moments that tested me and my family to our core. Yet, looking back, I’m grateful for every single one. Every stumble, every tear, it all dragged me to this exact spot, where I get to do this work.

Through it, I figured out I’ve got a unique way of really seeing people, for making them feel like they belong, like their voice matters. I know that longing—to be heard, to be enough—because I’ve felt it too. We all have. So that’s why I’m here: to sit with you in the mess, to help you find your light, the way I am finding mine.

What Fills My Cup

When I’m not coaching, you might catch me curled up with a gripping romance or drama novel, ears tuned into a captivating podcast or audiobook, binging on my ever-growing list of movies and series, trekking through nature with my dog on a long walk or hike, sweating it out at the gym, veganising my favourite comfort foods, or soaking up quality time with friends and family

 The Journey Ahead

Being a young adult today comes with incredible opportunities but also unique challenges. The truth is, we don’t always have the answers— but sometimes, the most beautiful growth comes from navigating life’s toughest moments while also discovering the path that’s truly yours.

One quote that empowers me when I feel like I haven’t achieved enough is this: Look back at who you were and where you started. I remind myself to be grateful for past versions of me—the one who kept going, who made tough choices, who got me to where I am today. It’s a small but powerful reminder that even when life feels overwhelming, one day, you’ll look back and see how far you’ve come.

Investing in yourself through coaching is an investment in your future. Why not do something today that your future self will thank you for?

WORK WITH ME

I create space for your truth to surface. My coaching cuts through noise to the core of what matters – where your real strength waits beneath the stories you've been told.

"Growth rarely follows our prescribed paths. The courage to acknowledge this - to let your journey be as complex as it needs to be - often marks the beginning of real transformation. Your challenges are unique. Your path forward should honor that truth.".

Kim's Insights

These are my raw observations from working with young adults during their most challenging transitions. Rather than offering neat solutions or inspirational quotes, I share what I've actually seen work when conventional approaches fall short. Each post explores the difficult terrain between external expectations and authentic identity. I write these both to document what I'm learning and to provide honest perspective for those on similar journeys.
