Why I like it: Making an image is different to taking an image and it’s way more fun. The mix of tones, sharp and soft areas and the fact that you can still recognise the species all work together to create a lovely one frame abstract of a species that I normally find quite difficult to photograph.

The second step

Today I took another step. And in the next few days and weeks, I’ll take a few more. Still kinda scary.
