The Scheduled Immersions
Nine days. Five on the ice in Svalbard with professional polar guides, and the coaching built around it. On the ice 28 March to 1 April 2027. Maximum ten, runs from six. No experience needed.

In May 2026 I crossed the Greenland ice sheet. 553km, 29 days, unsupported, one of fewer than five South Africans to have done it. Every ice trip on this page is run by someone who has lived the environment, not just visited it. That is the difference you feel out there.
